Hi!!
It feels like I’ve been gone for centuries. I’ve definitely missed talking about fashion, and hopefully, you guys have missed reading about it! I know we’re well into the holiday season at this point, what with Christmas Eve being just days away, but there’s still time to bust out some trendy party looks. New Year’s Eve is still a little over a week away, so if you’re still trying to figure out what to wear, you’ve come to the right place. I have five different looks for five different parties – wherever you’re going, I probably have an outfit idea for you.
1. CASUAL NIGHT IN
This is the perfect look for a chill party with friends, baking cookies and building gingerbread houses. It’s equal parts cute and comfy, and it takes basically no effort. I used my favourite chunky knit turtleneck from H&M, a pair of vintage-style mom jeans (cinched with this super cute faux snakeskin belt from Boohoo), and a pair of bedazzled slides from Forever 21. The jeans can be swapped out for cozy sweatpants (I’m thinking of a soft velour for maximum cozy vibes), and you and your friends can get extra festive in matching holiday sweaters. Adorable, cozy, and perfect for a night in.
2. DATE NIGHT
If you’re going on a special holiday date (holi-date? Sorry…), warm up a cute dress by layering it over a sweater. One of my favorite winter looks is a slip dress with tons of layers – starting with a turtleneck sweater underneath, with some black tights (for added warmth, of course), and then a pair of thigh-high boots to polish it off. I didn’t actually have a pair of thigh-high boots, so I put together a pair of high socks and my favourite black heeled booties. My slip is from M Boutique, the turtleneck is from H&M, and the boots are from Le Chateau. I also put extra effort into making my eye-shadow look pink and sparkly for holiday glam, using the Precious Stones palette in Ruby by Huda Beauty.
3. CASUAL NIGHT OUT
If your holiday plans are going to consist of a night out with friends, an easy and trendy outfit idea is a skirt with a cute sweater. My current favourite sweater is this chunky turtleneck from H&M, which I’ve tucked into my bra for a cropped effect. I paired it with a pleather mini-skirt from Forever 21, threw on some tights and heeled booties, and that was it! With this look, the best accessories are a mini-purse or clutch, and a bunch of trendy rings.
4. HOUSE PARTY
A house party is a perfect middle between a night out and a night in, making it the best place to dress up a cute (and warm!) sweater. I paired this cream OTS sweater with my go-to pair of leather leggings and this pair of snakeskin boots from Boohoo. I wore dainty gold necklaces, but it would also look amazing paired with louder jewelry and a lacy top or bodysuit.
5. THE SPARKLE DRESS
Like, THE sparkle dress. An essential for a glam holiday outing. This is the perfect dress to make a statement on the last night of the year, and start the new year off with not a bang, but a sparkle. The best part of a glittery dress is that it does all the work for you – put it on, swipe on a lip colour, and you’re set! These are two of my top picks for a glamorous and sparkly outfit.

I hope these looks provided some inspiration and guidance for your own holiday dressing. There’s still time, and most of these looks can be put together using pieces that you probably already own!
